NCAA Tournament

For Valentines Day I got Derek this puzzle that he had to put together to find out what exactly his present was. Thankfully Ryan was with us, because apparently Derek doesn not know how to do puzzles. It took us over 2 hours to put it together! It was a lot of fun, and Derek was very excited about what the puzzle said. :)

Charlotte, Justin and Caden were nice enough to let us stay with them for the night. We watched the huskies beat New Mexico and then spent some time with our friends. The next morning we went to a bar called the Swinging Doors (it was a bar and grill so Lexi could go....but I couldn't get the quote from Swee Home Alabama out of my head....."You have a baby.....in a BAR!) Here are the tickets to the game...

So I managed to leave my camera in the car, so all of these are camera photos....so I don't know how to rotate them...sorry!

Here is Daddy and Lexi ready to head into the arena....

Our seats! We got to watch Michigan State and Maryland and Purdue and Texas A&M
Lexi was AMAZING at basketball all day, the two games with the 30 minute intermission lasted almost 6 hours! Here she is in the second game sleeping in the 2nd half.

More sleeping.... And yes...more sleeping. We did great until the second game went into overtime, then I realized that we REALLY needed to change Lexi's diaper and we were sure out of diapers! We were just trying to get thru the game so we could run to a store and get some diapers. With 1 1/2 minutes left in overtime, pee started flying out of the diaper in all directions. We ran down to the bathroom and gerry rigged a diaper so we could finish the game....yet we missed the last second shot in over time.

When Lexi wasn't sleeping, she was dancing in her chair and flirting with all of the people around her. She did great being confined in a small space for that long. Overall it was a great trip, we had fun getting out of town for a day or so.

Glad you all had a good time in Spokane. Can't believe (yes I can) that Lexi was sleeping during the games. One special little girl.
