MUCH overdue Christmas blog....

First of all, I must apologize to our Kansas City family for how late this blog is! Things have been crazy since we got home and I am just catching up!
Here is Lexi playing in the Minneapolis airport, she was a great traveler, she slept at least 1/2 of each flight segment with only a little crying and no meltdowns! Derek and I flew separately due to schedule conflicts, so I had both kids for the flights. Ryan was AMAZING, he was such a great partner, he helped with anything and everything. He made a stressful travel day pretty darn easy! Thanks buddy. :)
Lexi napping on Grandma Vicki
Lexi and Grandma Great, Corrine was pretty tickled with lexi.

This was before Lexi was cool enough to stand up on her own...so we put her in the ottomon...she seems pretty happy there!
I love this picture of the two of them

Larry and Jose - Larry made awesome Cranberry margaritas...yummy!
Lexi being studious
Great picture of Grandma Witt and her babies!

Doesn't Ry look like a kid in a candy store?

I did a terrible job of taking pictures on Christmas day at Mike's, the only pictures I had were the ones in the Missouri gear, will do better next time!

Standing..

Today we were hanging out relaxing and watching TV when Lexi scooted over to the TV stand.....and up she stood! We all looked at each other with a shocked look, I grabbed the camera to document...this was when she first stood up...she knocked the green pot over in the process.
Steadied herself for a second...
Decided she needed to show off for her stunned audience....even gave them all a casual wave like "I do this all the time, no big deal"
Had to re-balance herself while Ryan showed his approval.
Then had to show off her skillz by waving again...she was so proud of herself!

And back to her tummy....still pretty jazzed about what just happened!
PS...please read disclaimer regarding snot and drool here...

M-I-Z.....Z-O-U!!

Christmas day was spent at Mike's house, here he is with his grandkids dolled up in their Missouri Tiger gear. Good looking group eh?

I found my tongue!

When we were in Kansas City for Christmas, Lexi all of a sudden figured out that she had a tongue and that she can stick it out! I thought this series of pictures was quite comical...Ryan actually took most of these. :)

PS...sorry for all of the snot and drool...she had a cold and seems to be teething...snot and drool have become a regular part of my life...plus she HATES having her nose wiped, she screams. So snot and drool it is!
